Verify your dependents

Documentation is required to verify your dependents. Otherwise, your new dependent won’t be added to your medical coverage, and there won’t be another opportunity to include the individual until Annual Benefits Enrollment, unless you have a qualifying life event.

After you submit your enrollment, you’ll see a confirmation screen with instructions on how to provide your documentation. You’ll also get a reminder sent to your home mailing address.

Download your carrier’s app (if available)

If you haven’t received your medical ID card, you can download your carrier’s app for easy access to your ID card, claims information and your telemedicine provider.

Download your carrier’s app. To access your information, you’ll need to create a username and password. Your carrier can assist with registration.

Download the Smart-Choice app to keep track of your balances and submit claims. You’ll need your Asurion Benefits Central username and password to sign in.

Understand your balance in your Health Savings Account and/or healthcare flexible spending account(s).

Visit your mobile carrier’s app store.

Increase or decrease your Health Savings Account balance during the year

Uh-oh … your contributions are too low or too high!

Use single sign-on from the Homebase launchpad to visit Asurion Benefits Central or go to asurion.benefitsnow.com.

Report a life event

You’ve added a child to your family, your dependent celebrated a 26th birthday or you’ve changed your marital status. You’ve got 30 days to act!
